Inspired by the timeless children’s classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas, this design captures the whimsical character of Mount Crumpet, the Grinch’s home.

The combination of mohair held together with wool creates a soft and scrunchy two-tone fabric. Back eyelets worked in short rows flow in a gently curved angel wing that surrounds your back in a warm, snugly hug. The top solid panel guards against wind and chill. It’ll be your favorite wrap wherever life’s journey may take you.

Yarns used in the sample:
A: KnitPicks Wool of the Andes, worsted weight 100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 110 yards per 50 gram skein
B: Scheepjes Mohair Rhythm, lace weight 70% Mohair, 30% Microfiber; 218 yards per 25 gram ball

Yarn A:
A1: Avocado (Green) (25 yds)
A2: North Pole Tweed (Blue) (50 yds)
A3: Sprinkle (Purple) (100 yds)

Yarn B:
B1: Green (25 yds)

Pattern Notes:

  1. Place a removable stitch marker on the RS until crescent shape develops enough for easily identification
  2. Any seemingly misshapen areas will settle into place during the blocking process
