Disappearing, subtle cables wrap the hem of this winter hat. The construction is deceptively simple: knit the cable hem and join the two ends, then pick up stitches for the crown. Mount Temple is an imposing mountain overlooking Lake Louise, Alberta, in Banff National Park.

Finished Size: 21” circumference, stretches to approximately 23”

Yarn: Dragonfly Fibers Traveller, 100% Superwash merino wool, 280yd/4 oz, approximately 130 yards.

Needles: 16” circular needle and set of 5 double-pointed needles or your preferred method for knitting in the round; size 5 US (3.75 mm) or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 20 stitches/28 rows per 4” blocked stockinette in the round
