The Mountaineer Cowl received its name after one of many trips to the Colorado mountains.This two-color stranded knit cowl is super soft and squishy and will keep you warm on your adventures.

Size: One size
Construction: Knit in the round from the bottom up.
MATERIALS
Needles: US 6 16’ circular needle
Yarn: 2 colors of fingering or sock weight yarn. Less than 300 yards of each.
Sample knitted with Manos Del Uruguay Alegria in Pescador for main color A and Malabrigo Mechita in Aniversario for contrast color B.

Notions: Stitch marker & Tapestry needle

GAUGE
30 stitches and 34 rows over 10cm/4in worked in mountaineer pattern.
Gauge is not terribly important with this pattern, the above is what my finished cowl measured out to be.
