Worked in one piece lengthwise, this scarf features openwork stitches and a shell pattern. Loops of chain stitches worked down one side of the piece create a striking contrast to the shell stitches; picot trim adorns the straight edge.

Finished Size About 64” long and 8” wide, excluding fringe.

Yarn Universal Yarn Amphora (60% acrylic, 20% alpaca, 20% mohair): #108 cappuccino, 2 balls.

Hook Size 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions Yarn needle.

Gauge 15 dc = 4” and Rows 1–9 = 5.25” in patt.

Note Scarf is worked from side to side. Fringe is added after all rows and edging are worked.
