MountainTop Patchwork Scarf
One day I picked up some odd balls of Mountaintop VISTA and CRESTONE, cast on a few stitches and started knitting. This patchwork scarf is the result.
After knitting a long strip of garter blocks, I was bored with garter stitch and picked up stitches along the side and began working long rows of seed stitch. I continued changing colors, patterns, or stitches randomly, as I tired of whatever color, pattern or stitch I was working. Each section builds on the already knit sections and each section has something to hold your interest – stripes, mitered triangles, ruffled or zig zag edges. The ends are finished with pom poms and i-cord fringe, just for fun.
