Pattern description from Son of Stitch ‘n Bitch: “Mr. Stripey came about when I wanted to make a colorful sweater that would be more interesting than plain stockinette stripes, and that would let the shaded interact with each other without creating too much extra bulk. I opted for a slip-stitch color pattern because it is an easy way to get complicated-looking color work without having to manipulate multiple strands of yarn at once. This version is done in a funky, retro-hipster color scheme, but could just as easily be made in something more subtle, such as various shaded of natural browns and tan, or perhaps in a nautical look with shades of navy and white (the ribbing sections would look great with just the cast-on row done in red.”
