Muirs is a triangular-shaped shawl worked from the bottom up. The shawl is based on traditional Shetland designs. The lace pattern occurs only on RS rows. The lace edging inspired the name, Muirs, which means oceans/waves in Scottish.

Charts and written instructions are included for both of the lace charts.

The sample shown was knit with approximately 400 yards of fingering weight.
