This lacy cowl works up quickly, and is easy to make.

Materials Needed
3 skeins Loops and Threads Charisma yarn in Mulberry Bush, or other #5 chunky yarn (My cowl used 2 full skeins, and a teeny-tiny bit of the 3rd skein)
9mm crochet hook
yarn needle
scissors

Stitches Used
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
V-stitch = dc, ch 1, dc in stitch, skip 3 stitches and repeat

Additional Terms:
V-stitch = dc, ch 1, dc in same stitch

Gauge:
10 stitches in 4”

Measurements:
Finished cowl should measure 27” around, by 14.5” tall

Additional Notes:
You will be working in rows for this pattern. I’ve written the “turn” after the chain, but you can turn immediately at the end of the row, and then chain the required amount, and still get the same results.
You must be comfortable working in the 3rd loop of the hdc. Check out this excellent video from Moogly on how to find that loop if you get stuck.
