This pattern contains two versions of a hot water bottle cover/cosy, which share the same design on the back. It is quick and easy to make and would be an ideal gift for someone.
The colour changes for the checkerboard pattern are achieved using the intarsia technique. The cover is fastened using buttons across a flap on the back. It is made from three flat pieces. Optional crocheted flower embellishments can be added.

Materials:
Sublime extra fine merino wool DK (50g balls, 116m/127yds)quantities shown for only one version

Shade 013 Jet Black – 1 ball (colour B)

To make both versions, you will need to purchase one additional ball of the main colour (shade 017).
