Red sweaters always look cheerful and this design features a dainty lace pattern to bring a touch of elegance to the season.

This sweater is worked in the round from the bottom to the underarm. The front and back is worked separately to the shoulders which is joined using a three needle cast off. Stitches are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are worked in the round from the top down with short row sleeve cap shaping.

German short rows are used to shape the shoulders and sleeve caps but you can use an alternative short row method if preferred.
