The Mulligan Tunic is Pattern 2 in the “Packing for Edinburgh” series of patterns. Why buy your clothes when you can knit them, right? This collection made up my essentials for the Edinburgh Yarn Festival. A tunic is wonderful for Edinburgh, warm in the cold breezes, but also great for running on golf courses or up the stairways on the Royal Mile. Good for a pint, good for a golfing expedition (even though I don’t golf!)

The Mulligan Tunic is not specifically a golfing tunic. The nice folks at St. Andrews gave me a 7 iron and plenty of mulligans so I golfed a wee bit in it.

Knit from the top down, with a varied, textured stitch pattern on the yoke, this tunic grows quickly. You can make it shorter or longer to fit your particular size. There are also some subtle textured stitches on the lower sleeves.
