This scarf is made of triangular sections that join together as you go, so there are no ends to work in! The ribs make for a very soft and squishy scarf—but you are only ever working knits or purls on any particular row.

The scarf can be made a different width or use a different weight yarn by ending with a different number of stitches, as long as it is a multiple of 3. For example, the scarf could be made with fingering weight yarn using a width of 42 stitches on size 4 needles or 30 stitches with worsted weight yarn on size 8 needles.

The pattern can also be adjusted to your yardage- as a modular pattern, you can easily add or remove triangles to adapt to the amount of yarn that you have on hand. Try using scraps for different triangles to use up leftovers! Have some fun! I can’t wait to see what you can do with it!
