This hat is worked as a flat piece and then seamed..
The hat can be worked with a ribbed edge or a rolled edge.
The pattern is written for the following gauges:
3 sts per inch
3.5 sts per inch
4 sts per inch
4.5 sts per inch and
5 sts per inch making it a very versatile pattern.
Each gauge uses a different needle size and a user chosen yarn that will work at the stated gauge.
