Hat is worked back and forth in rows, in Ridge stitch and Stripe pattern, and then the seam is sewn.

The Earflaps are worked first, then stitches are cast-on between Earflaps for front of Hat.

Edging stitches are picked up and worked in garter stitch. Ties are worked in garter stitch.
