Multicolour Chunky Ribbed Hat Knitting Pattern

This pattern is for a simple ribbed hat that will definitely keep you warm in the cold days. I have used two balls of DK weight yarn in different colours to get a chunky result, but feel free to go with your own choice – just remember to knit a swatch to obtain the correct gauge.

Skills necessary to complete this project:

• Knit and purl stitches
• Binding off
• Sewing or knitting seams together

Gauge:

• 18 sts = 10 cm/4”
• 20 rows = 10 cm/4”

Materials:

• Colour 1: 100 g/3.5 oz DK weight yarn
• Colour 2: 100 g/3.5 oz DK weight yarn
• 5 mm/UK 6/US 8 needles (straight or circular)

Measurements: the hat fits small to average size adult females or teenagers.
