This scarf can be worn in a whole host of different ways. Cleverly placed buttons and buttonholes allow for a variety of looks, from a chic pleated cowl, to a perfectly placed wrap.

This pattern was nearly named ‘Confused’… Whilst I was working on the pattern design, I would arrange the half-finished sample around my neck to see if it was taking shape as I had anticipated. My husband, seeing me peering into the mirror with needles all over the place, asked me what on earth I was designing.

“It’s a scarf that thinks it’s a cowl that thinks it’s a shawl” I told him.

“I’m confused” he said.

“So’s the scarf!” I answered.
