This scarf is named after my good friend Murielle (who modelled the ‘snuggle up either way’ snood and mock cable scarf). She gave me her time freely & never asked for anything in return. Now she has moved somewhere, where they have serious winters and I wanted to give her something to say thank you. She loves grey & chunky knits so hope she likes this.

This pattern looks more complicated than it is. Suitable for beginners, you just need to know casting on and casting off, knit and purl stitches. It shouldn’t take more than a couple of evenings to fling off your needles.

NB THIS PATTERN REQUIRES 25MM NEEDLES (or chair legs, whichever works best for you ;o)).
