This is a pattern I came up with inspired by my experiences living through many Candian Winters. Even though I complain all winter and talk about moving somewhere where the sun shines all year round, I truly am a winter girl at heart. I love winter sports and can’t imagine anything cozier than coming in from the cold, sitting by a nice warm fire, and sipping hot cocoa with my Mush Boots on my feet!
The felting process makes these boots extra cozy and warm, and to keep things simple, they are knit in garter stitch from the bottom up. The pattern includes detailed instructions and photos throughout, including detailed felting instructions. This pattern is designed for the intermediate knitter, or the adventurous beginner. Techniques used in this pattern include knitting in the round, picking up stitches, short-rows, cable cast-on and buttonholes.
