Easy Apron Halter Top with Mushroom Appliqué 
A fun halter top, great for beginners and experienced crocheters alike! Made with your favorite worsted 
weight yarn, this is a free-flowing halter that is great for wearing in the summer, or for layering over 
warmer clothing when the weather gets chilly. It comes in two sizes that will fit multiple sizes! 
Sizes 
Instructions are written for size 2-4 
with changes for size 6-8 in 
parentheses. 
The style is open-back and 
flared front. 
Yarn 
You may use the DK or worsted weight 
yarn of your choice. 
I used : 
Tahki Stacy Charles Cotton Classic, 
100% Mercerized Cotton, 1.75 oz 
(50g) 108 yds (100 m) 
Color A: White – 4 (5) skeins 
Color B: Orange – less than 1 skein 
Color C: Light Blue – less than 1 skein 
Color D: Brown – less than 1 skein 
Color E: Red – 1 skein 
A good, affordable substitute is Caron 
Simply Soft 100% Acrylic. You will 
only need one or two skeins of white, 
minimal amounts of the other colors. 
Hook & Gauge 
Hook: Size F/5 
Gauge: 5 scs x 5 rows = 1 inch

Size B crochet hook for embellishment 
4 small white buttons 
5 small red buttons 
One large button for the back of the halter
