To make the mosaic crochet mushroom beanie, you’ll need the following materials:
• 100% acrylic yarn, worsted weight (amounts and colors listed in the pattern)
• Crochet hook: 4.50 mm
• Tapestry needle & scissors
• Sewing pins and/or stitch markers

Pattern Skill Level: Intermediate

YOU MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH THE MOSAIC CROCHET TECHNIQUE. Sorry for yelling, but it’s important. There are a ton of videos online that teach mosaic crochet and all the fun skills that go with it. This pattern does NOT teach you the basics of mosaic crochet. I will help you through each row with a step-by-step photo tutorial (and video tutorial available upon request), but you must already be at least somewhat familiar with the basic “rules” of mosaic crochet to complete this pattern.

Size Chart:
Baby: fits heads sized approximately 17“ circumference.
Toddler: fits heads sized approximately 18” circumference.
Child: fits heads sized approximately 19” circumference.
Teen: fits heads sized approximately 20” circumference.
Adult Small: fits heads sized approximately 21” circumference.
Adult Medium: fits heads sized approximately 22” circumference.

More about the hat: This hat is made from the bottom-up and uses the foundation single crochet to cast on. The mosaic crochet technique is used throughout to create the mushroom motif and the hat is closed at the top with rounds of dc stitches.
