MustGo is a sampler pillow cover recipe created to use a hodgepodge of worsted weight wool remnants. All of the stitch patterns used in MustGo can be found in Barbara G. Walker’s Treasury of Knitting Patterns.

All six patterns change colors every 2 rows, use slipped stitches to distribute colors, work to the same gauge and create a sturdy fabric. Even better, they only require one color of yarn per row!!

The MustGo pillow cover can be made in both rectangles and cylinders (bolsters) in many different sizes.

I WANT TO START RIGHT NOW: assemble your scraps, check gauge, print pages 1 through 4, pick stitches and pillow size, cast on.

I WANT “GOURMET” MUSTGO: check out the advanced techniques section at the end for guidelines for installing zippers, combining stitches and colors, and changing yarn weights.
