So what would you call these things? Octopuses with too many arms? Mutant squid? Radioactive jellyfish? Or some kind of alien monsters?

No matter what you call them, these guys are here to cheer you up with their creepy cuteness and brightly colored tentacles :)

This pattern is great for getting to know some basic shapes in amigurumi. You also get a lesson in making spirals, plus some additional tips and tricks for varying these.

I used a lot of scraps when I made these, so I don’t have the exact yardage, but you will need less than a skein (50 g) for each body and less than half a skein of each color for the tentacles.

12mm safety eyes.

Made with bulky yarn and 3.75mm hook, the tallest of the mutant jellies is 14cm tall.
