This customizable raglan sweater is seamlessly knit from the top down in the round. It is knit according to your measurements for a perfect fit.

The construction is super simple and this pattern has been taught as a beginner sweater class at our shop, Fancy Tiger Crafts, in Denver for many years with great results for all body types.

Yarn Requirements:
600-1400yds Fancy Tiger Heirloom Romney (or worsted/aran weight yarn)
The total yardage depends on the choices you make along the way, like fit and length, in this customizable sweater. Here is an estimate of the yardage you will need: XS 600-750yds, S 670-900yds, M 850-1100yds, L 1050-1200yds, XL 1200-1400.

Needles & Such: 40” circulars in sizes US 10 (6mm) and US 9 (5.5mm), or size to achieve gauge.
You will make both the sleeves and the body of the sweater in the round, so the magic loop method is recommended for the various circumferences. If you prefer not to use magic loop, you will need 16” circulars (for neck), 29” circulars (for body) and 8” DPNs (for sleeves) in both US 10 and US 9, or size needed to achieve gauge
darning needle
scrap yarn
5 stitch markers

Gauge: 14 sts & 22 rows = 4” of stockinette st on the larger needle size.

The needle sizes listed above are a recommendation, but the most important thing is to get an accurate gauge. You will be making a sweater tailored to fit your measurements and gauge is super-duper important.

ERRATA: Lower Body/Hip Shaping section, increase round should read:
