I designed this sweater to make use of my first handspun yarn. The pattern is quite simple. I’m making it available here because it is a nice, basic shape that is endlessly versatile, depending on yarn and variations on the theme. Any heavy worsted weight yarn will work fine. Because of the ribbing, the pattern is very forgiving if your sizing is not perfect. (This does not mean you can ignore gauge. Do not mock the knitting goddess.)
