This pattern is a part of my Memories of Down Home series. It replicates the gingham cross stitched tablecloths my grandmother used and the one she gave me for my hope chest.

This knitted adaptation is done in a simple stranded colour work pattern, with the cross stitch details added afterwards.

You will choose 3 colours, with the main colour being one that appears to blend the two contrast colours. Only 2 colours are used per row.

Yardage:
CC1: pictured in white: 285 yds / 260m
CC2: pictured in navy blue: 262 yds / 240m
MC: pictured in sky blue (a colour that blends CC1 and CC2):
550 yds. / 502 m
