Time for a new year-long KAL! This one is full of delicious colors, yummy fingering weight wool blend yarn and shiny beads!

Sign up at Hands On Knitting Center (Redlands, California, USA) online or get your pattern here and use your own yarn and beads. Beads are optional, but add drama! $12 is for the pattern only. Please contact HOKC (ph # below) for cost of kits.

If you purchase the kit through HOKC, you will receive a project bag, a new button for each yarn color once a month, one new clue on the tenth day of each month of 2019, beginning with January. The clues are available for download through ravelry and you will receive notice when the new clue is available each month via e-mail and ravelry messaging.

2019’s knit along is a happy, not too complicated, beaded, lace design. Big, flowy and wearable ….. it’s just soooo pretty!

If you choose to use your own materials, you will need 1200 yards (100 yards per month) of fingering weight yarn, 1460 size 6/0 beads to coordinate with your choice of yarn color(s). 20 stitch markers, size US 13/14 steel crochet hook or beading tool for attaching beads to knitting, and a sense of adventure!

If you sign up for the monthly kit through Hands On Knitting Center (HOKC), 909-793-8712, in Redlands, California, you will receive monthly: a handmade coordinating stitch marker, a new 97 yd skein of Lazer Sheep’s “Lazer Lamb Sock” fingering weight wool/nylon blend in a juicy color dyed just for this shawl. Each clue is different and the shawl is a fun knit - and this year there are NO WRAPS and TURNS! Materials can be mailed through HOKC, just ask us!

As we begin the KAL, HOKC will host a chat group on ravelry. A link will be provided. Materials list is provided now through download.
