I had to create this pattern to actually have a gift to give her. Little did I know it would knit up so incredibly fast, I could have knitted 2 pairs in one day! This pattern is a written pattern using double point needles in the round. I stash dived for the yarn, which had no indication of what it was, but it is a worsted weight yarn (ETA I did find out what yarn this was). You will need about 1.5 ounces to complete this speed knitting pair. The texture is wonderful, and keeps close to the hand. No bagging. They are 6 inches from wrist to finger tip, and can be made longer or shorter by easily adding or subtracting pattern repeats.

For those who hate purling, there is NO purling in these mitts!
