Based on Mitred Kites, this shawl/shawlette is made in one piece.
This pattern gives a medium sized shawl.shawlette, but once you have grasped the basics you can make your kites any size, small to large depending on what you want to do. I used just one ball and it made 9 Kites.

The pattern is writen using American crochet terms, and you need to be able to do Single Crochet, plus increasing and decreasing.

This pattern includes about 36 photo’s - helpful if you are a beginner.
