’My Wicked Scarf’, named after Elphaba, the novel and broadway musical WICKED.
(This pattern calls for handspun AND mill spun/store bought yarn. IT CAN ALSO BE MADE with only handspun or only mill spun yarn)
I love texture; textured stitches, textured yarn, combining different textures, all of it. I also really love using handspun yarn, but lets face it - the good stuff isn’t cheap. That is one reason I like to use handspun yarn WITH mill spun yarn, makes it last longer/go farther. For the scarf in the photos I used mill spun yarn Caron’s Simply Soft and handspun yarn. The pattern contains information on both types of yarn

This pattern would be perfect for a beginner - there aren’t any tricky/new stitches. As always, if you have any questions I am happy to help.
