Myles the Bunny Baby Lovey
This is one of those makes that ends up being the thing they carry around everywhere. You know the one: dragged through the house, snuggled in the car seat, in every naptime photo.
I made Myles to be simple, cute, and actually useful. You can finish it with a soft knotted tail or a loop to hold a pacifier so it doesn’t get lost every five minutes. If you’ve never done that before, don’t worry. I made a quick video to show you how.
The head, body, ears and arms are worked separately and then sewn together. It’s all done in basic stitches, so it’s perfect if you’re newer to crochet but want to make something really special. You can use safety eyes or embroider them (embroidered is safer for babies). You’ll also need a bit of stuffing, a darning needle, and some pins to position everything before sewing.
It works up fast, is beginner-friendly, makes such a sweet gift. And bonus: it’s a great stash-buster too.
