MYSIG is a swedish word meaning cozy, snug, and comfortable, describing a feeling characterized by a warm, inviting and comfortable atmosphere.
With this in mind a wanted to create a small but exquisite neck warmer that knits up quickly, making it perfect as a small gift.

MYSIG is worked back and forth in one piece in brioche stitch and has built in i-cord edges. The increases and decreases create
a delicate edge with a subtle cloud-like effect.

This knitting pattern is for anyone who hasn’t yet dared to try the brioche stitch. It’s for all knitters who found the knitting pattern
too complicated and challenging. Until now!

With MYSIG, I wanted to create a simple recipe so that anyone can knit this wonderful and effective pattern.

The pattern is designed so that the finished size of the shawl can be freely adjusted depending on the yarn length available.

Make it big or small, simple or fancy, with thin or thick yarn, solid or colorful.

Knit MYSIG your way - however you like it.

Recommended yarn:
Cardiff Cashmere Classic
or
Woodland Fibre Arts Angel Luxe and Pixie Dust

You will need:
needle recommendation according to yarn
2 stich markers

Yarn requirements:
Orange sample is shown Cardiff Cashmere Classic color Take
Total yarn use: 50g - 220m

Purple sample is shown in Woodland Fibre Arts Angel Luxe and Pixie Dust in color Purple and Eden.
Total yarn use: 88g - 350m

Measurement of sample after washing:
170cm x 16cm

You can easily calculate the yarn consumption:
50% for the increase
50% for the decrease

With this simple recipe, you can customize the shawl
to your liking and your yarn.
