The Mystery Train toque is a unique shibori design for inspired knitters.
Two yarns with very different properties are worked together in a simple slipped stitch pattern, and then lightly felted. A dynamic fabric is created when the pure silk fiber (Silken Straw) relaxes during felting, appearing as colorful windows of texture within the felted field of the dk silk/wool blend yarn (Sanctuary).
The hat is worked in the round, and because of the slipped stitch motif, only one yarn is worked at a time, making it an easy & colorful project.
