Welcome to Silver Arrow Crafts Mythology and Culture CAL

It will answer a lot of questions about how this works.

This CAL is a paid project that will feature release squares every week starting June 15th on Wednesdays until completion. The squares released will be GRAPHS ONLY designed 100% original by me, with some minor instruction. There will be only 3 PDFs to start with, but they will be updated with more PDFs of new pattern instructions each week. These will always include last weeks information so if you get behind, it will still be in one place.

Recommended Stitch Options for this CAL are HDC Corner to Corner, DC Corner to Corner, or Bobble Stitch but will also work well with Half-Double Crochet, Or Single Crochet stitches.

Purchase of this collection will start earlier then June 15th and you will be given the first 3 of the squares upon purchase immediately for your use, a well as an info PDF that may answer general CAL Questions. These center squares are the largest squares of the CAL, and you are welcome to just crochet any you like, but recommended to pick just one per blanket

As we release new squares, you will receive a notification to update your pattern with us on Ravelry.

This pattern is actually 3 different parts that are updated every week but They are interchangeable so you can crochet any you like from any part.

The center pieces are 50x50 stitches big centerpiece and there will be 12 squares of 25x25 stitches that will be added around the centerpiece, for a total of 13 squares.

You will also be offered a “banner” that will be 100x25 stitches and can be added to the top or bottom of the finished piece. Size will vary depending on hook size, tension, stitch and yarn weight used.

Note: the center piece can be done in 4 individual squares and then stitched together, or as one solid piece. PDFs will have both options for you.

Every PDF will include recommended colors for Vannas Choice, Hobby Lobbys I love this yarn!, Red Heart Super saver, and Stylecraft DK. At this time, recommended yarn amounts will not be included, but may be an option in the future.

Option 1: Zodiac
This first option for our CAL will be the Zodiac. Each part will represent one “sign” of the zodiac, with a symbol to represent the sign.

Option 2: Mythology - this current posting
The second option for our CAL will be Greek Mythology. Each part will represent a symbol or sign of a story in greek mythology. We may represent Gods, Goddesses, and popular stories within Greek Mythology. Alternative parts may be released on my personal blog noted above.

Option 3: Celtic Symbols
The last option for our CAL will be Celtic Symbols. Each part will represent a popular symbol or motif from the Celtic Influence.

These patterns are copyright protected and cannot be sold, transmitted, distributed or reproduced in any form or by any means. However, you are welcome to donate, gift, as well as sell any of your finished items (if you are an Individual Crafter).
