These slippers are knitted flat, but have no seam, so they are wonderful for those knitters who like to avoid
sewing. The sole is flat with no uncomfortable seam running the length of the slipper. Because of the garter
stitch, the slipper is very stretchy, so sizing is very accommodating. The child size (8”) stretched to fit snugly
on my 10” foot.
Slippers may be made a solid color, stripes may be added at any time, or the sole can be worked in a
contrasting color. The contrasting color can also be used up the back of the heel if desired.

I like to use acrylic yarn for better wearablity and ease in washing. The sole may also be spray-painted with
Plasti-Dip or other similar product to provide a non-slip surface. This will also help the soles to wear better.
