The Narwhal Tea Cosy knitting pattern was inspired by a love of narwhals - I mean; how amazing to be sharing the earth with a creature that looks so magical - a whale that looks like its crossed with a unicorn - what’s not to love?

The Narwhal tea cosy has a lovely mottled look to it which is achieved by knitting with two different coloured yarns that create its unique pattern.

The tail and horn are stiffened with plastic taken from a plastic milk bottle. I used a milk bottle because the plastic is flat in the middle.

The narwhal tea cosy is an enjoyable tea cosy to make and perfect for people who love programs like ‘Blue Planet’.

You could make your narwhal look more magical looking by knitting it in a colour or using a sparkly yarn.

The Narwhal tea cosy is knitted with double knitting wool which has been doubled to keep the teapot really warm.

The tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups.

The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting him very soon!

This product is the knitting pattern only to make your own Narwhal tea cosy.
