Source calls for 20g ‘feine sandfarbene Häkelkunstseide’ (fine sand-colored Crochet Rayon) on needles size 2/0 (Old German size, 1.25mm) for an oval 33cm wide 42cm long. Chart 13A is worked back and forth, then stitches are picked up and chart 13B is worked in the round.
