I created this pattern specifically for the Women’s March in DC, but will likely be wearing it throughout Trump’s presidency. I decided to protest in the best way I know how (crafts!) and wasn’t a big fan of the pink pussy hats that is sucking up the pink yarn supply nationwide.

Materials needed:
• 2 skeins DK weight yarn in contrasting colors – I used Cascade 220 Superwash in Pacific and Black
• Size 5 (3.75 mm) and 6 (4.0) needles – I used 32” circulars and the magic loop method
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle

Skills required:
Basic understanding of knitting in the round, reading charts and fair isle color work.

Note on yardage: This is my first time creating a pattern, so I apologize that there is no concrete yardage information yet. I used no more than 3/4 a skein for the main color and 1/4 for the contrasting color when using 220 yard skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash.
