This PDF crochet pattern includes detailed instructions to help you create Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar, also know as the “Three Magi”, together with the gifts they bring for the King… and, of course, the Star of Bethlehem! :)

The Three Wise Men who have come to honor the newborn King are a wonderful extension for the pattern “Nativity Set - Holy Family”.

Note: The last picture shows the complete Nativity scene, including the patterns “Holy Family” and “Three Wise Men”.

Measures:
Using Fingering Weight yarn and hook size 3.0 mm the Three Wise Men will turn out approximately 9 cm / 3.5 inches tall.

Skills level: easy to intermediate.
The basic patterns are very simple worked with single crochet in rounds/spirals (suitable for beginners); for crowns, gifts and clothings you should know how to crochet different kinds of stitches (e.g. half double crochet, double treble, picot). My patterns do not include basic crochet instructions.
