While my boyfriend was away one wintry week, I designed these quick-to-knit handcuffs/restraints as part of his birthday present. We’d been wanting to try some, but frowned at the expense. You can knit several pairs out of a whole or partial skein, making it a great stashbusting project. I enjoyed the freedom of making them as kinky or sweet as I wanted. Unlike metal handcuffs, these restraints travel well, so you can bring them along on your adventures. I hope you and your partner enjoy!

You can also adapt the cuff pattern to become wristcuffs for daily wear. For more fun, change up the yarn, gauge, stitch pattern, and colors for unique effects.

You want a medium to tight fabric for this pattern, which will then be felted. But how you get that (ie, gauge) is up to you. This pattern also requires some sewing skills, tools, and notions.
