Don’t let the sweet face fool you! This panda is a bit mischievous and what some may even call naughty! While there was Panda-monium in the Panda Kingdom, due to no bamboo being readily available, this Panda nibbled and nibbled in the Bamboo Fields! So much nibbling did Naughty Panda do that he grew and grew and grew to 40X40 Windows! Oh No! Well, in order to get Naughty Panda to fit in with the embarrassment of pandas, more bamboo was needed. Thus included with this pattern are bonus Bamboo panels to join in should you like to make this cute, but naughty, panda a center panel to go with our 27X29 blocks. Naughty Panda and Bamboo side panels is the same as four 27X29 blocks when joined.

Suggested Yarn – Heavy Worsted/Aran: Berroco Vintage or Worsted Weight: Berroco Comfort or Lion Brand ZZ Twist, or any weight to obtain size and gauge desired

Crochet Hook: 4.5-5.5mm or any size to obtain size and gauge desired. The structure of Intermingled Mesh fabric is such that increasing the hook size as suggested on the yarn band by one size may be best, it will offer a bit more drape given the density of the fabric.

YARN SUBSTITUTION NOTE: Recommendation of approximately 60 grams in each color is based upon a worsted to heavy worsted weight yarn. Due to the nature of Intermingled Mesh Crochet regardless of yarn grist/weight the pattern requires the same number of stitches and as such if a heavier yarn is desired the yarn will have less yards/meters to 100G than a worsted weight yarn does to 100G. As such additional grams may be needed to complete the project. Likewise, if a lighter yarn is used, it will have more yards/meters per oz/gr and provides more yardage per 100G. As such, the same project will likely require fewer skeins of each color to complete the project.
