The deep blues on this snowy interlocking filet crochet afghan add a nautical look to your décor. The detail on the snowflakes is created with diagonal stitches. Since interlocking filet mesh projects have two layers, a fun double border is provided to complete the look.

This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions as well as a design chart for reference.

If you haven’t tried diagonals on an interlocking filet mesh project yet, you can learn how on my YouTube Channel and follow along with my FREE Interlocking Snowflake Coaster pattern! You can also read about it on my blog!

Finished Size:
48” wide x 60” long

Yardage:

Main (Background) Color:
Hobbii Winter Glow has a variation in thickness from lace weight to worsted weight. A total of 2000 yds. was used for this afghan. If a uniform thickness DK weight yarn is used for the main color instead, I recommend 2400 yds. for this afghan.

Contrasting Color:
2500 yds. of We Love Yarn Megaball - Light worsted (DK) weight yarn was used.

This pattern is written in U.S. terms.
