Yarn: Calls for 2 oz. of one color and 1 oz. of a second color, but that covers both this outfit and “Sandy’s” outfit.

Additional materials: Elastic thread for waistline

Sweater is worked in one piece from lower edge of the front to lower edge of the back, casting on for the sleeves. Collar is knit separately and sewn on.

Colorwork is slip-stitching.

Sized for a Ken-type doll with the 1960s figure: 6.25”/4.5”/5.125”. Fit may vary on modern dolls.

Important note regarding newer dolls: The sweater does not open in the back; it has to go on over the doll’s head. It may not fit the newer dolls with bigger heads unless modified for a larger neck opening.
