Medieval Necklace.

Fiber jewelry feels soft on your skin and doesn’t get in the way during your daily adventures. Make this necklace as an addition to Bracelet Medieval or on it’s own.

Crochet level:
- Intermediate.

You should know how to crochet following stitches:
ch (chain), sl st (slip stitch), sc (single crochet), puff stitch (learn in the process).

This pattern includes:

  • written instructions;
  • very detailed step-by-step pictures;
  • video - tutorial for crocheting Romanian Cord;
  • charts with directions.

Instructions are given in English language, American terminology.

If you are not familiar with crochet charts, you can follow step-by-step-pictures and written instructions, given under each image.
Take a look at charts now and then and you might become a chart guru after all :)

Crochet hook:
- 1 mm.

Recommended materials:

  • 10 g / ½ oz / 60 m / 66 yards of linen 3 ply yarn (YarnStories on Etsy, 3.4 oz / 100 g / 656 yards / 600 m) in 104 Natural) or cotton crochet thread size 10.
  • Tapestry needle, sewing needle size to go through beads, matching yarn color sewing thread.
  • 5 mm in diameter or smaller 3 beads (pictured: howlite stone dyed turquoise).
  • 3/8’’ (1 cm) in diameter bead for fastening.

Size, gauge:

  • Necklace: 18 ¾’’ (48 cm), tassel: 2’’ (5 cm), made with 1 mm hook.
  • Big round motif is 1 ¾’’ (4.5 cm) in diameter.
