The Diadem Fingering Yarn in Moonstone and Ruby colors developed with inspiration from prized jewels and gemstones by Knit Picks made the perfect choice for designing this shawl. This pattern has been published on the Knit Picks website.

The inspiration for this shawl suddenly came to me one evening while I was just trying on different necklaces for an out-door wedding that required me to drape a lace wrap that would show-off my necklace with a pendant. A semi-circular shawl slowly evolved with this inspiration. It is knit in two colors, main and contrasting, and in sections with increases made on either RS or WS rows. 7 sections complete the shawl with 3 of them showing oval, round, heart shaped and diamond pendants. Pattern includes both written instructions and clear charts.

For Sections 6 & 7 knit the first and last sts on all rows for a neater finish.
