I created this case for my interchangeable knitpicks needles but this needle case is sturdy and would work well for DPNs as well. In the top left pocket there is a small bit of icord to keep tapestry needles in their place as well. The pattern is knit front and back at the same time so you must be familiar with double knitting or be willing to learn. Either way, the end result is well worth it!
