Neist Point, nach dem der Kurzponcho benannt ist, ist ein Leuchtturm am westlichsten Zipfel der schottischen Insel Skye.
Der Poncho wird aus einer Leuchtturmwicklung gestrickt, wobei alle zwei Runden die Farbe gewechselt wird. Natürlich gehen aber auch andere Farbverlaufsgarne, oder auch einfarbige Garne, die bunt gemischt werden.
Der Poncho ist asymmetrisch und hat drei Seiten: jeweils eine große Fläche glatt rechts bzw. glatt links, und zusätzlich seitlich eine Fläche mit Streifenmuster.
Er hat genau die richtige Länge, um den Oberkörper zu wärmen, ohne die Bewegungen zu behindern.
Gesamtlänge: ca. 53 cm.
Halsweite: ca. 53 cm.
Untere Weite: ca. 210 cm.

Du benötigst:

• 1000m Leuchtturmwicklung BW/Poly “Colorflash” von Wollium (LL ca. 180m / 50g).
• Rundstricknadel der Stärke 3,5, Länge 40 cm
• Rundstricknadel der Stärke 3,5, Länge 80 cm
• 3 Maschenmarkierer

In Germany, a special kind of gradient yarn – a combination of two gradients used in alternating color stripes – is very popular. It is called „Leuchtturmwicklung“. Light house. Therefore my „Leuchtturm“-poncho is called after a light house: Neist Point (Isle of Skye, Scotland).
Use a „Leuchtturmwicklung“ or two gradients and change the cake every two rounds to create the color effects.
The poncho is asymmetric, consisting of three sections: two bigger sections in stockinette stitch / reverse stockinette stitch, respectively. And a third section with alternating knit and purl rounds.
It has a perfect length to keep you warm.
Length: approx. 21‘‘ (53 cm).
Neckline: approx. 21‘‘ (53 cm).
Width at the bottom: approx. 83‘‘ (210 cm).

You will need:

• Approx. 1094 ys (1000m) of two gradient yarns of fingering weight or one „Leuchtturmwicklung“, color “Colorflash” by Wollium (approx. 197 ys (180m) / 50g).
• Circular knitting needle of size US 4 (3.5mm), length ca. 30‘‘ (80 cm)
• Circular knitting needle of size US 4 (3.5mm), length ca. 15‘‘ (40 cm)
• 3 markers

The pattern consists of written instructions row by row and a schematic of the poncho.
