What am I missing?
Neolithic
Neolithic is a unique shawl, featuring a simple but striking colorwork pattern that points the way to geometric lace, and is easy to work to any size.
Now available as an individual Ravelry download and in my e-book Gwynedd, including charted instructions only.
10% of sale proceeds from my patterns go to charity, and featured charities rotate throughout the year. Check out my Profile Page to find out which is my featured charity for this quarter.
Yarn Requirements:
Main Color (MC): 440yd/400m of fingering
weight yarn, shown here in Malabrigo Sock
(440yd/400m/100g, 100% merino) in color Abril
(Purple-Blue)
Contrasting Color (CC): 120yd/110m of fingering
weight yarn, shown here in Knit Picks Bare Merino
Wool Fingering Weight (440yd/400m/100g, 100%
merino), undyed. Divide CC into nine butterflies
of about 50in, 125cm each, plus one large ball.
Sizing Note:
The shawl is easy to expand: as many repeats of the
Colorwork Chart or the Arrowhead Lace Chart can be
worked as desired. If more repeats of the Colorwork
Chart are made, you will need to have four more
butterflies of CC per extra repeat. If increasing the
number of Arrowhead Lace Chart repeats, be aware
that this will add to the curve of the shawl.
