A friend of mine mis-read something that I wrote as “neck sock”. Since I happen to be rather addicted to knitting socks, she challenged me to go ahead and create a neck sock. This is version one.

This yarn worked perfectly for a striped sock. By counting stripes, I was able to use one entire skein of yarn.

It would be simple to adapt this pattern to a larger circumference or a longer scarf…just be sure to have enough yarn!
