ANNIKEN ALLIS has used a variegated, hand-dyed yarn to complement the lace stitch pattern on her ‘Nerys’ shawl. The yarn from Cat and Sparrow, called Oh So Fine Lace, is a heavy laceweight Bluefaced Leicester-silk blend, and has an impressive sheen and drape. Anniken’s design has a deep crescent shape, with a band of garter stitch around the top, and a deep lace border.

PATTERN NOTES
This shawl requires a very stretchy
cast-on, so that the points can be pulled out
when you block the shawl.
