A soft, feminine design made from the classic shell pattern. The soft waves and scalloped edge across the top of the purse give this coin purse a unique and girly appeal.

The coin purse is a great size to carry your coins, or use it to capture small items that roam around your purse, like gum, eyedrops, or chapstick so you stay organized and clutter free.

Each skein makes approximately 3 purses. I made one of these for my mother-in-law and she ended up asking me to make one for each of her friends for Christmas, so they make great gift items or craft show sale offerings.

Finished size is 4” H x 6” W and pattern includes instructions for adding a key ring for convenient carry.

Once crocheting is complete, finishing your purses requires some sewing to add a lining and a zipper closure. You can use a machine or hand sew. If sewing isn’t in your skill set, recruit a friend or family member with seamstress skills to help. It only takes a half hour to create the lining and set the zipper. I have filmed a step-by-step instructional video to walk you through the process which can be viewed at http://funcrochetdesigns.com/crochet/index.php/helpful-tips/.
